NinthVector is a full-service design and development firm now located in what was originally the American Woolen Mill, erected in 1893, 10 Water Street, Lebanon, NH. The success of their national clientele lies in their unusual approach to communication, combining Scandinavian and multi-national design influences with proven marketing knowledge.
Overlooking the raging Mascoma River, the NinthVector team is enjoying their new view. “We have always wanted to use a space that encourages a free flowing exchange of ideas,” says founder and lead designer Kristoffer Nielsen. Here, the entire team is able to see one another, and share their ideas the moment they are conceived. The team enjoys the benefit of knowing that their coworkers are always available to act as sounding boards.
Clean design and clever functionality comprise Kristoffer’s design objective; he always aspired to turn that passion into a full-time endeavor. NinthVector started, with just two people, as a print and web design company in the upstairs offices of the Lebanon Health Food Store.
Katie Partridge, NinthVector’s project manager and content developer says that she has always wanted to work in a creatively charged environment. “You wouldn’t think a health food store to be a place where web design creativity would bloom,” states Katie. “We offer quality services, we work diligently for our clients, and we were able to gain so much business that we knew it was time to expand.”
“With NinthVector,” states Kristoffer, “creative ideas are perfectly balanced between functional development and esthetically focused design, hence our mantra, development by design.”
Andrew Carmichael is NinthVector’s full time IT specialist and back-end web developer. Andrew is an integral piece of NinthVector, ensuring that the whole team meets their project deadlines.
Giulio Savo, NinthVector’s marketing communications specialist creates and monitors marketing campaigns for NinthVector’s clientele. Giulio’s motto is “multiple efforts on multiple fronts.” He applies this ethic to all of NinthVector’s marketing programs.
Nikki Dussault, NinthVector’s office manager, ensures that the daily operations run smoothly. When asked to explain what her job entails, Nikki laughs and says, “If only I had the time to tell you.”
NinthVector’s newest addition, Emily Wieja, is a graduate of The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands. She adds to the diverse graphic and creative layout perspective of the NinthVector team.
NinthVector invites you to visit their studio to have a first hand look at what goes into their design process. With an open floor plan, the new studio stimulates innovation and progressive outside-the-box thinking. It encourages an exceptionally creative environment that utilizes contemporary design applications to drive the business forward.
When asking Kristoffer what ingredient goes into the successful growth of NinthVector he says, “Pineapples.”
The team has placed faith in a rather unlikely good luck charm, a can of pineapples. The tin of wedge shaped fruit started with the team in 2003 as part of a lunchtime snack and has now traveled to their new studio on Water Street in Lebanon. It stands guard on a pipe near the 14 foot ceiling ensuring that the NinthVector team never forgets its beginnings.
